Saluda Visitors Center – Located by Atkins Produce Stand just as you exit I-26, is Saluda’s charming Visitors Center.  Make a quick stop and pick up information about restaurants, lodging, unique shops, walking tour maps, and other information about Saluda.

Saluda Grade Historical Marker – the Saluda Grade is the steepest standard gauge main-line railroad grade in the USA.  Saluda sits at the crest of this grade and draws many railroad enthusiasts and historians.

Historic Downtown Main Street—Downtown is three blocks of century old establishments on the National Register of Historic Places. Visit distinctive shops, art and craft galleries, restaurants, bakery, coffee shops, brew depot, and antique stores.

Historic Thompson’s Store and Ward’s Grill – Oldest General store in NC and grill still owned and operated by the Ward and Thompson family since the turn of the 20th century.

M.A. Pace General Store – 100+ general store, hardware, and museum of times gone by.

Saluda Station - Where once the Saluda train depot received the throngs of seasonal visitors in search of good health and relaxation, the building has been restored and houses several shops in a unique setting rich with history and character. Known as Saluda Station, it is the area between the Saluda Public Library and City Hall.

Green River High Bridge - An architecturally significant and historic bridge near Saluda on Highway 176 was spared from demolition and preserved for visitors to enjoy the view of the Green River.

Saluda Tailgate Market – Held May through October on Fridays from 4:30 to 6:30.  Located at the West Main Street Parking area.  Local produce and products from Polk and Henderson County farmers and growers.

Saluda Center – A non-profit organization integrating services for senior citizens with cultural and community activities and events.  The center hosts an Art Exhibit with reception monthly, bridge and dancing lessons, weekly movie matinees, guest speakers, and hosts a monthly community potluck with entertainment.

Saluda Library – Full-service branch library, located at the north end of Saluda’s main street.   We have books, DVDs, magazines, public computer access and Wi-Fi, and more.

Saluda School - Saluda Elementary is one of four schools chosen to serve as an A+ Case Study School for the NC A+ Schools Program!  Pre-school to 5th grade.

Saluda’s Dog Park – Sponsored by the Saluda Community Land Trust to provide a green area within the city limits for dogs to socialize and exercise.

Purple Onion Café and Coffehouse –On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, enjoy live music by well known regional performing artists playing jazz, blues, folk, Americana, rock, and all types of music.   Offer a variety of ethnically inspired dishes with an emphasis on the Mediterranean's simple, healthful cuisine and a focus on freshness and local produce.  Monthly wine tastings.

Saluda Grade Cafe– Friday nights Ole Timey Music.  Featuring cuisine using fresh local ingredients, the Saluda Grade specializes in classics with a twist. Imported, domestic and local beers on tap, compliment an extensive wine list

The Party Place and Event Center – A 12,000 sq. ft. facility and climate controlled for everyone's comfort with a huge dance floor, a beautiful stage and state of the art sound system. Contact for private events.

Green River Brew Depot – This is a comfortable tap room conveniently located in Historic Downtown Saluda just behind Saluda City Hall.  Features twelve craft beers from the western North Carolina area on tap and a number of bottled selections. Also offered is a respectable selection of wines. Events include live music and sports on the big screen.

McCreery Park – Children’s playground, gazebo, and picnic shelter in downtown Saluda.

Green River Adventures – Guided inflatable kayaking down the Green River and waterfall and rappel guided tours.
